Elana Scherr, formally of Hot Rod and Roadkill, joins us in the podcast studio to talk all things car. She has a hell of a growing fleet on her hands, and we have to dive in and see what is going on with a handful of those rides. Most notable might be her 1970 Dodge Challenger, which has seen its 440 engine swapped out for a race-prepped 505.

After taking a deep dive into the world of too-many duallys and Mopar madness in different states of repair, it's time for your questions.

Friend of Hooniverse Jonathon Klein stops by to join us in the studio. We talk about some of the fast machines that Klein has driven lately, and that includes the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, Scarbo open-wheel vintage Ferrari tribute race car, and a few McLarens. After that I remind everyone that the new Jeep Wrangler is really good before we dive on into your questions.

Spoiler alert: the new Jeep Wrangler is good! The 2018 Chevy Silverado, however, isn't so great. What's also good is a Kia Stinger GT AWD that wears snow tires and is let loose on a winter driving course. Those are the main topics this week, but we also tackle your podcast questions.

Finally, we dip into some upcoming vehicles and then also try out a new segment at the end of the podcast. It's a talk about some photo/video/travel gear. This time around we cover the Wandrd Access duffel, Mavic Air, and some upgraded ear pads for the Audio-Technica ATH M50x headphones. 

I'm sitting in a Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, and it's getting hotter. Regardless, I have things to say and a recorder to capture it all. Topics this week include the Tahoe RST, Tacoma TRD Sport, a trip to Colorado to drive a Kia, and some potential news on a bigger trip coming up in May.

Jason Fenske is the man behind the popular Engineering Explained YouTube channel. He and I are shuttling out to a driving event in Palm Springs, and I took the opportunity to fire up a GoPro and record a conversation. We'll learn a bit about Jason's Honda S2000 and Subaru Crosstrek, how he started the channel, and where he see it all going down the road.

Time to send out a solo episode, and this one comes to you from the cabin of a 2018 Ford Mustang. I'm sitting in my garage talking to myself while a Zoom H6 records my dulcet tones.

Topics for today include; the aforementioned Mustang, driving the new Subaru WRX STI Type RA and BRZ tS, and heading off to Corsica to sample the Jaguar E-Pace. There's also some news on my 74 Benz and a plea for help on the Wombat. After that it's time for some questions from our Patreon peeps. 

This week Jon Klein and I venture into the wilds of Burbank California to meet up with friends of the show, Mike and Jim Ring, aka The Ring Brothers.  The guys flew in to show off their amazing 1972 AMX Javelin on Jay Leno's Garage.

With an astounding track record for delivering machines as beautiful as they are well-engineered the Javelin does not disapoint.  The Javelin is good for north of 1000HP utilizing a Hellcat engine topped off with a Whipple twins-screw supercharger.
