Steph Curry has been cooking a lot lately. Last nine games for The Chef, RIDICULOUS. The Boston Celtics have been on a roll as of late, having a winning record in their last 10 games. The C's now sit in 5th place in the East. In the West, the top 4 teams had been rolling, all with winning records in their last 10 games. The top 2 teams in the NBA have reached the 40-win mark of the season. 

In other news, LaMarcus Aldridge has announced retirement on yesterday where as James Wiseman season has ended with surgery.

Now that the college basketball season is over, The Playmaker can get back to the NBA talks. The Western Conference looks great as 6 teams have 30 wins while 3 teams in the East have 30 wins. The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat are not living up to expectations. Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Milwaukee are living up to expectations in the East. The West however, is more compelling and have better competition.

Games to look forward to this weekend. 

A national champion was crowned last night. With dominant fashion, the Baylor Bears have reached the mountain top of the college basketball world. 4 decades since Baylor crowned the men's national championship. Congratulations to Scott Drew on one of if not the best program turn around not only in college basketball history, but sports history overall.  

We are down to the Final Four. The Houston Cougars, who haven't been this far since the 1980s. The Baylor Bears, who haven't been this far in decades. UCLA, who has done what Loyola-Chicago two years ago as a double-digit seed and hasn't been this far since 2007-2008. Then the best team in all of college basketball, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, who are trying to accomplish something that hasn't happen in decades. 

Saturday evening is Final Four:

2. Houston vs. 1. Baylor

11. UCLA vs. 1. Gonzaga

Championship Game will be on Monday, April 5. 

We also say goodbye to one of the greatest coaches to ever coach the game of basketball. 

This episode of Hoops Talk is different. The NBA trade deadline was yesterday and a lot of moves took place. One franchise completely blew up their roster. The West saw key teams make good moves to complete with the Los Angeles Lakers. 

This weekend is all about the Madness. The Sweet 16 begins on Saturday through Sunday. The Elite 8 will take place Monday and Tuesday. The Road to the Final Four is narrowing down. Will a double-digit seed make to next weekend? Can Cinderella make another run? The PAC-12 has been dominated so far, but will it continue with 4 teams playing this weekend? The true contenders will rise from this point forward. 

The NCAA Tournament saw 9 upsets in the 1st Round. Oral Roberts pulling off the biggest one in the 15-2 upset, but they was not done there. The PAC-12 showing up well as four teams are in the Sweet 16. The Big Ten on the other hand, went from 9 teams in the tournament to only ONE remaining after four days. Loyola-Chicago are back at it again as well as Syracuse, both in the Sweet 16. 

In the NBA, the Lakers are now without both LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the struggle is real for the defending champs. Boston has dropped from the 4th seed at the All-Star Break to now the 8th seed in the East. Utah and Philadelphia still remaining tops in the NBA but, for Philly beware of the Milwaukee Bucks as the Bucks are coming. 

Episode 12 of Hoops Talk, will mostly focus on the NBA. A first has happen for the Step Curry and the Warriors and not in a good way. The Clippers are slipping and PG13 is behind it. Jimmy Butler has Miami looking like Miami. Milwaukee starting to their strived while teams like Orlando can't get it right.

The NBA tipped off their 2nd half of the season on Wednesday. We have already got to see a 40-point in the East. LaMarcus Aldrige has parted ways with the Spurs. Blake Griffin has a new home in the East. 

College Basketball is in the midst of Champ Week as Conference Tournaments in the major conferences are full swing. One top seed already fell and two blue bloods are done for the season. 

Selection Sunday is this Sunday and the March Madness will be at peak. 

The All-Star Game has taking place, good things happen during the All-Star day on Sunday. Giannis gets MVP honors and deservingly so. Now the 20 half is set to begin on Wednesday and The Playmaker gives out his 1st Half NBA Awards. 

The regular season is over in college, so that means the fun is about to begin. 6 teams having already clinched their spot in the NCAA Tournament, but more spots are needed to be filled. The majors conferences are set to start conference tournaments beginning with the ACC today and ending with the American Championship on Sunday ahead of Selection Sunday.

The first half of the NBA season is over. A recap of Tuesday, Wednesday, and last night's games are in order. A look at the All-Star as Team LeBron and Team Durant have been assembled for Sunday's game and how the best team in the league show no respect from the two captains.
