  • 23.18b: Super Size - Part 2
Six weeks remain in the 2025-26 basketball season. In 42 days, both 64-teams NCAA Tournament brackets will be set, but there is a lot of games to decide plenty between now and then.
Monday, we super-size Hoopsville by combining Monday shows into one . We will chat with one of the more prolific scorers in DIII history, talk to a program helping cause caos in their conference, and chat with several programs having milestone seasons and not letting up.
    And we aren't done there!
In Part 2 we merge our weekly Top 25 Double-Take show, normally only available for Hoopsville Members, into the live show and available to everyone. Bob Quillman joins Ryan Scott to discuss their Dubious, Deep-Dive, and Debatable selections from this week's Top 25 men's poll. Then Scott Peterson joins us to discuss the women's Top 25, but in a twist we chat about the five most improved teams this year plus a 'lighting round' of 10 (or more?) teams we blindly throw at Scott for his thoughts (anyone you want him to talk about?).
Part 2 guests appearing on the Hudl Hoopsville Hotline:
    - Ashley Branch, Franklin women's coach
    - Top 25 Double-Take:
    - Men's segment: Bob Quillman & Ryan Scott
    - Women's segment: Scott Peterson
Also in Part 2 we will also recap some of the decisions DIII membership made at least week's NCAA Convention.
Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com from the WBCA Studios.

Ryan Scott, Scott Peterson, and Riley Zayas will be joined by special guests nearly every poll week to discuss teams rising, falling, under the radar, and more.
This week Tim Calderwood (men) and Gordon Mann (women) join the show.

  • 23.15: Unranked Success
Some of the best hoops happening in Division III don't necessarily involving Top 25 teams!
On Monday's Hoopsville, we chat with programs not even receiving votes in Week 5's D3hoops.com's Top 25 polls. Learn how their seasons are progressing and why we could be talking about them in March. And if they are okay with flying under the radar. Plus a look a head at how the latest Top 25 polls could look with results over the weekend playing a role.

On Thursday's Hoopsville, we chat with programs who are well above expectations midway into the season and find out what's working so well. Plus, take a peek at the new Top 25 this week and results we have already seen - including a big upset in the Top 5. And games this weekend that have caught our attention.

  • 23.12: Starting Anew
It's a new year and it's time to start Hoopsville anew! There have been great games played during the holidays giving us plenty to talk about, including some unpleasant headlines.
On Monday's second-half season debut of Hoopsville, we will drop in on a few programs that have hit the unofficial midway point in pretty good shape. Plus, we recap some of the games, results, and notes that stood out in the last few weeks. A new Top 25 is due later in the day, so we can take a peak at what may change - including if any of the teams we chat with may make an appearance. And some programs garnered some difficult headlines, we will see what is the latest.
Guests appearing on the Hudl Hoopsville Hotline:
    - Ken Scalamini, No. 18 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's coach

  • 23.10: Season of Plenty
It is the season of giving and a season where there is plenty. For some Division III teams, they seem to have plenty to go around. Wins, points, tenacity, and more.
On Monday's Hoopsville, we will check in with a few teams that are almost always in the conversation nationally, but all for different reasons. One powerhouse has remained consistent in an ever changing game. Another known for their defense, is now trying to find offense with a young squad. Another has a tradition of 1000 point scorers over the generations. And another never seems far from talk of winning another title.
Guests appearing on the Hudl Hoopsville Hotline:
    - Elsa Daulerio & Adrienne Shibles, No. 12 Bates women's senior and alum
-0 Pat Juckem, No. 4 WashU men's coach
    - Josh Merkel, No. 2 Randolph-Macon men's coach
    - Bill Broderick, Christopher Newport women's coach
Plus a peak at the final Top 25 poll of 2025.

  • 23.9: Exam Time
Exam period is a time to find out how much students have learned in the semester. Seems a good time to check in on exactly that, though final grades are not due for two-and-a-half-months.
On Thursday's Hoopsville, hear from programs from far and wide on how they grade their seasons so far. Some may have higher marks than we are accustome while others seem to be getting extra credit. Plus, what can we learn from these programs that we will want to review come February?
Guests appearing on the Hudl Hoopsville Hotline:
    - Ryan Mee, Vassar men's coach
    - Erin Monahan, William Paterson women's coach
    - Brad Fischer, No. 3 UW-Oshkosh women's coach
Plus Dave adds his "2 Cents" to the idea larger conferences should get additional Automatic Qualifying bids. Where is the idea coming from and why it's not new.
