As Virginia moves to 2-0 on the season, Preston welcomes back Deuce Prince from the 4-3-4 Defense Podcast to breakdown the win over Norfolk State. First, Preston and Deuce give their One BIG Take, hand out the Hoos On Player of the Game and feature some wild stats of the game. Then Preston and Deuce dive into the defensive performance headlined by Brandyn Hillman and the return of Kam Robinson and Corey Costner. They also discuss the Cavaliers ability to rush the quarterback and updates on Jason Hammond and Cazeem Moore. Virginia returns from the early bye week to welcome a familiar face to Charlottesville, as Preston returns with the familiar David Teel from The Virginian-Pilot to preview the Norfolk State matchup and react to the release of the UVA men's basketball schedule. First, Preston and David discuss what the return of star linebacker Kam Robinson and defensive back Corey Costner means for an already stout Virginia defense. Then they analyze the Virginia passing game, Michael Vick's return to Charlottesville and if we'll learn anything from the Norfolk State game. Later Preston and David react to Week 1 for the ACC with an eye on Dabo Swinney and Clemson. David discusses how Tony Elliott has adapted to new era vs. his former boss and the thought that Elliott could be a candidate to replace Swinney at Clemson. Finally, Preston and David return to breakdown the full Virginia men's basketball schedule with an eye on two matchups with Duke, two Big Monday games and a daunting non-conference schedule that hints at Ryan Odom's confidence in the Cavaliers.

While the rest of college football kicked off this weekend, Virginia coaches hit the recruiting trail and so did Preston and Wahoos247's Jacquie Franciulli who breakdown the recent buzz about the Cavaliers. First, Preston and Jacquie dive into the largest recruiting weekend of the Tony Elliott era with the names to know, who got offers and the reaction from coaches and recruits. Then Jacquie explains where UVA is picking up steam on the recruiting trail. Later Preston and Jacquie discuss the floor of offers for the 2029 class and why this signals a change in strategy for the Cavaliers. Finally, they breakdown the roster building strategy for UVA football in this new era and the balance between high school and the transfer portal.

First, Preston and Brad give their One BIG Take on what the season-opening win in front of a packed Scott Stadium means and how UVA took a big step as a program. Then the guys look at John Rudzinski aka "The Mad Scientist" and imagine what the ceiling for the defense could be. Finally, Preston and Brad wrap up by talking about the atmosphere at Scott Stadium and if the early bye week is good for the Cavaliers.

Virginia and NC State will kickoff the college football season in Week 0 and Preston kicks off the season with a double feature to preview the season-opener in Charlottesville. First, Kris Wright from The Sabre joins to give initial reactions to the first official UVA depth chart and what positions standout the most. Then Preston and Kris give their takeaways from Tony Elliott's first press conference of the season including roster and injury updates, Elliott ranking the Cavaliers in the Preseason Coaches Poll and the "biggest" recruiting weekend of the Elliott's tenure. Noah Fleischman from The Wolfpacker joins next to preview the matchups in this season-opening ACC clash. First, Noah shares how NC State fans feel heading into Dave Doeren's 14th season and then breaks down the offense and defense. Finally, Preston and Noah say who has the advantage on either side of the ball, what this game means to both sides and give their predictions.
