I had a wee blast on the guitar tonight and made a quick and short recording of Iron Maiden's Wasted Years on the acoustic. This song comes from their 1986 album, somewhere in time.

I've always enjoyed playing this song, and have done so for 20+ years I reckon, although its the first time I've ever recorded it. I grew up listening to and playing rock/metal, although I will often play my own versions of songs, like I do for this one.

I didnt want to bore you with a full version so just did the intro, first two verses and the chorus.

Having looked back at the video I need to work on not pulling as many faces when I'm playing ! Next time I'll just add a still photo with the music behind it instead !
