Snobbies, welcome to CHEER-UP FILMS month! Today we are introducing a new topic for the snobs and we begin with Caleb’s pick. He is a deeply Midwestern boy, as is Eric, and Jared a little too, so Caleb decided to Cheer us up after a long Halloween month with a film that dribbles down into the soul of every Indiana proud resident…director David Anspaugh brings a true classic of Sports film perfection, a true pioneer in the art form that is a sports movie, “Hoosiers.” We really enjoyed watching this film again, some of us for the first time since we were kids. We talked through our favorite moments, why this film works so well, and when we actually got into the Vietnam War…it makes sense if you listen. We really enjoyed this film and talking through it and hope you do too. Enjoy!
