あなたのアイデンティティは、あなたの生き方に大きな影響を与えます。神がどのようなお方かを知るとき、私たちは自分の本当のアイデンティティを理解することができます。そして、本当のアイデンティティから、神が私たちのために用意された人生を歩むことができるのです。

エペソ人への手紙は、神がどのようなお方で、私たちのために何をしてくださったのかを教えてくれます。そして、その恵みにどう応答して生きるべきかを示しています。

アイデンティティが築かれていくとき、それは友情、結婚、職場の人間関係、家族関係など、すべての人間関係に影響を与えます。神を知り、神のために生きることで、それらすべてが変えられていきます。

しかし、キリストにあるアイデンティティを築いていく中で、私たちは必ず困難や反対に直面します。それは私たちの信仰を成長させることにもなれば、信仰から離れる原因にもなります。自分が誰であるかを知っていることは、悪に立ち向かい、キリストにある強いアイデンティティと土台を持ち、本物の信仰を生きる助けとなるのです。

Your identity shapes how you live. When we know God is it helps us to understand our true identity. Out of our true identity we can live the life God created us for. Ephesians walk’s through who God is and what he has done for us. Then it shows how we should live in response to that. Building our identity shapes all of our relationships from our friendships, marriage, working relationships and family relationships. They all are affected by knowing God and living for him. As we build our identity in Christ we will face opposition that will either grow our faith or cause us to turn away. Knowing who we are will help us fight against evil and have a strong identity and foundation in Christ that will lead us to live out a genuine faith in Christ.
