"School was a big safe haven for me, in my life. I talked to my favorite friends, my favorite teachers.... It's just different ways of interacting with people that I think it is really good for kids to be and have, and having that trust with other adults just makes your expansive support bigger. And the more support you have, I believe, the way easier life is."
In this episode, Rainbow Center's Education Manager Mary Woodard and RC Board Member Chris Davis chat about the stigma around mental health, double standards in sports, and how IL26-001and IL26-638 create unfair and inequitable conditions for our students. Presented in support of the No Hate in WA State Campaign.

"Sports is culture, here, you know? [...] So I think that if daughters are not able to access sports, with their school or with state coordinated clubs, I think that then girls are removed from a lot of that culture."
In our premiere episode, join Rainbow Center's Education Manager Mary Woodard and RC Board Member Tori Laird as they discuss youth sports, misogyny, and how Ballot Initiatives 638 and 001 will broadly impact our most vulnerable students. Presented in support of the No Hate in WA State Campaign.
