This New Year’s Eve, join us to be reminded what leaving behind 2023 is all about. This was a year of pruning, of God cutting away the old. While this can be uncomfortable, it’s important to look back at the grace of God’s yesterday, so that we can look forward to the grace of God’s tomorrow. We’re pruned for the sake of receiving the new of God: what in our lives are we looking to dress up more like Christ in the new year? And remember, end the year in thankfulness. Thank God for what He’s pruned, how He’s matured you, and for what newness He’s bringing in the new year.
