I made this video on hope and borderline personality disorder (BPD) to provide much needed information on BPD. The video is intended to clarify many of the myths of BPD that are on YouTube and the internet. If you, or someone you know, has been diagnosed with BPD, he/she should have hope that treatment works and that he/she can overcome this disorder. In the video I will discuss the prevalence of BPD in the U.S. and the world, the variability of traits in BPD, how often it is studied and the likelihood of treatment success, and what individuals diagnosed with BPD need to have and do to overcome this disorder.
