Through all of the trials, Paul goes through God shows His providential care.

This week we look at Commandments #5 & #6. Moses tells Israel to honor their parents and not to murder. 

Paul's circumstances changed as he was arrested but he remained open to God using his talents.

Moses instructs Israel in the law before heading into the Promised land. He starts by going over the 10 commandments

As Paul heads into Jerusalem, with the knowledge that he will be arrested and imprisoned, he goes forward with a determination that won't be deterred. 

You cannot outrun God's Mercy and He is there to pick you when you have blown it. God will never leave you.

Paul shows us the role of elders in the church and how we are to carry ourselves as we serve Jesus. 

Moses exhorts the Israelites to hear the Word of the Lord and do it. 

When God wants to bring spiritual growth to a person's life He will push out the old dead stuff that is getting in the way. 

Moses reminds Israel of the faithfulness of God by how He led them through the wilderness to the cusp of the Promised land.
