In Peter's 2nd letter, he finds that his churches have forgotten some important truths, and even more so, some have adopted some unfortunate lies. Peter is trying to stir them up, remind them of something they have forgotten. Remind them of who they are and what they have been told — and the same applies to us today. What truth do you need to be reminded of? Do you find yourself lost in the midst of lies? Do you know your promises?
