What do we do when God seems absent?
Join us for week 2 of our series on: Esther |
In the heart of the dominant Persian Empire, God’s people were faced with a question: “Is God still with us? Or has He abandoned us in our moment of greatest need?” By way of a great reversal of destiny, the unseen God had a plan to rescue His people. God's plans are always best, even if we have to wait on them.
“God is the Author of a grand story of redemption, and it includes you! Esther, who was definitely a hero to her nation, was not the actual hero of the book of Esther – God is. His name is never mentioned in this short Old Testament book, but his hand of providence is seen in every verse.”

Jesus says in Matthew 14:17, “Bring them here to Me”. He doesn't give us a magic formula to solve our problems on our own. Rather, He gives us Himself; and invites us to cast our cares on Him. He also wants us to bring things like our worship, our friends, our treasures to Him. When we BRING IT to Jesus, it goes so much further than we could ever take it.
