Hope Church of Winter Garden, Florida

Easter was amazing! What an incredible Sunday celebrating our Risen Savior. We go to meet so many new people! But Jesus was still on earth for 40 days after he rose from the grave. One of the most significant periods of the church calendar, and least celebrated or noted, are those 40 days. He walked and talked in places where His ministry had been; He was seen in His restored body by thousands; He healed many; He continued to preach, He continued to love.

Listen to our Easter message! Easter is for everyone.

Jesus tells us in the Bible that the first and greatest commandement is to LOVE GOD with all our heart, soul, mind & strength; and the second is just as important, LOVE OTHERS! Who are the "others"? The people you live with, the people you work with, your neighbor...and the list goes on!

So here's the question..."Who do you LOVE?"

Mathew 5:13-16: “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

What does it look like to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world? During this 2 week series we will explore how we live this out in the spheres of influence that we are called to.

Staying the same can be comfortable, but never exciting. Living in a rut is easier, but boring. How is your life? Is it constantly renewed? How is your relationship with God? Is it boring or exciting? What better time to dive into something new, than right at the beginning of a brand new year
