We continued our "Yellow Bricks Forever" series at Hope Church exploring loving God with the mind. The Scarecrow was our core character.

This week at Hope Church we continued our February message series, "Yellow Bricks Forever." This week we explored the soul using Dorothy as our core character.

We kicked off a new series this week at Hope Church for a deep dive into Jesus' teaching that we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We are using characters from "The Wizard of Oz" as guides. Today we explored what it means to love God with the whole heart and the Tin Man.

This week we wrapped up our January message series, "Divine Direction." This morning's topic was on finding the faith to start doing something for God.

This week’s topic was about trusting the process for faithfully following God, step-by-step. Our Bible lesson came from Acts 20:22-24 and outlined the process revealed as the Apostle Paul prepared for his trip to Jerusalem.

This week's message is the second installment in our "Divine Direction" series. This week's topic is about how God wants to give you the wisdom you need to make the necessary decisions in life.

We kicked off our new message entitled, "Divine Direction." This week’s topic was on making the decision to follow Jesus and become the person God created and calls you to be.

This week, Pastor Mark reflects on our mission statement, "We introduce people to Jesus and FUEL their love for Him", and asks where God is seeking to change you so you can show His Love for others.

Imagine the day after:

• Still in the barn with Joseph’s extended family, because there was no room in the inn

• Still surrounded by animals

• Still thinking about the arrival of the shepherds and we know the Wise Men are on their way

• What we see is God is beginning the work to redeem all of creation

Christmas Eve at Hope Church was beyond words. We finished our "Don't Be A Grinch" series and explored how Jesus was the long awaited Messiah; He was the gift dared to be given by God the Father for our benefit; and Jesus came to stand in the gap between our sin and God's wrath. Thanks to Jesus' birth, we are able to experience the hope of eternity. So let's WELCOME CHRISTMAS and allow it to change us so God can use us to help change the world.
