  • Spring 2024 - Week 2 - Compassion vs. Compromise
Pastor Josh preaches on the difference between compassion and compromise. He discusses how true love and compassion do not rejoice in sin but in TRUTH. Biblical love is not giving someone false assurance and promoting compromise– even if it is unpopular. Compassion comes from true doctrine. He explains that if your life contradicts the Bible, you are in compromise and that many people have “itching ears” today and do not endure sound doctrine. In these last days, many doctrines of demons say it’s okay to have the world and Jesus, but we cannot. Tolerating sin will lead to compromise, and ultimately judgment. The Holy Spirit’s conviction of compromise is an invitation to repentance and freedom!

This includes power to persevere through trials and temptation, power to hold firm to one’s identity in Christ, power to submit to the Holy Spirit’s leadership, power for stability in unstable circumstances, and power for crucifying the flesh and its lusts (among several others).
