Listen to the last sermon of the series today "Is the Church of Jesus Christ Relevant Today?" Most of the world says NO, that the church is for people who are united by fear or superstition. We have argued from the scripture, that the Church is relevant today.

Disunity is like a tumor, all the blood flows to the diseased area and dilutes the body.

Today the church is relevant when it satisfies the hungry and quenches the thirsty. What do you hunger and thirst for? "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." (Matthew 5:6)

Today, the church is relevant when it grows kids God's way - pouring out into society fully devoted followers of Christ (molded by God's love) "Shining bright like stars" - transforming the world one child at a time.

Love comes from God. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son for our sins.

What makes the Church of Jesus Christ relevant today? Our ability to be generous...to meet the needs of the broken, the lost, the homeless, the hungry, the discarded.
