God had a plan for each one of us! But, what does that look like? What can we expect? This week we begin our series on the life of Joseph and look at receiving that dream from God. We hope this message encourages you as you follow after Jesus!

As Christians, we believe in Heaven, but what is it like? Should we think about it or worry about that later. Why is it such an important part of our faith. This week, as we conclude our series, Pastor Dan talks about the hope we have in heaven.

What’s your first response to news? Worry, fear, calling someone? Our first reps once should be prayer. Prayer is powerful and effective. In the final message of our James series we look at prayer and the example we have in Elijah.

How we plan and make decisions is so important! Time moves fast and there is so much uncertainty about tomorrow. While scripture teaches the wisdom of planning, it also recognizes that our perspective and relationship with God is a huge part of how we should plan. This week Pastor Dan looks at James 4 and 5 and talks about what it looks like to make decisions with an eternal perspective.

This Sunday Pastor Abigail brought a message about the weight of our words, looking at some key takeaways to overcoming our tongue. Do you struggle to control your mouth? When we can overcome and control our tongue with the help of the Holy Spirit, every other area of our lives will change.

Faith is an essential part of following Jesus. In fact, scripture says without faith it's impossible to please God! What does that kind of faith look like? Is there an appearance of faith that isn't real - a fake faith? As we continue this study on the book of James, Pastor Dan unpacks the idea of "faith that works"! We hope you are encouraged and inspired in your walk with Jesus.

The goal isn’t growing old, but growing up! We want to become more like Christ the longer we follow Him. There is an enemy for our soul who is actively working to stop you from becoming mature in Christ. Satan wants to tempt us to follow our own desires rather than pursuing Jesus who ultimately satisfies us. Don’t take the bait! As we study the book of James together we pray that God speaks to you and that you are inspired, encouraged, and empowered to take your next step in following Him.

Life is full of curveballs. When our joy depends on our circumstances we can become an emotional roller coaster. The mature person learns how to “count it all as joy” no matter what they are facing. This message, Pastor Dan talks about moving from “immature” to “I’m-mature” for any kind of trial.
