Hope For Couples Who Can’t Have Children

Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty MInute. There is no heartache deeper than the heartache of couples who long to have children but can’t. But there is hope. Scripture is full of stories of women who miraculously conceive by the power of God. In Judges thirteen, we meet Manoah, whose wife was barren. But the angel of the Lord appeared to her one day and said, “you shall conceive and bear a son.” Manoah prayed and asked God, “teach us what we are to do with the child who will be born.” And the Bible says, “God listened to the voice of Manoah.” God blessed them with a baby and taught them how to raise him to pursue God’s purposes in his life. If you are childless, never give up hope that one day God will answer the deepest cry of your heart. And if he gives you a child, raise that child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Then watch what God will do.
