Angels were created to glorify God, and they are not to be worshipped.  Only God is worthy of our worship and devotion.  We will discuss all of these topics and more on today's show.

Thank you for joining us for the seventh episode in the Armor of God series. Today's piece of battle gear is my favorite, the Sword of the Spirit. Every other piece of armor is used to defend us from Satan's attacks.  Today, we are going on the offensive as we learn how to take up and wield the Sword of the Spirit, our only offensive weapon against the enemy.  The battle we are in is not of this world. There is a war raging in the heavenly realms, and we need to pierce the darkness by memorizing and boldly proclaiming God's word and having it at the ready when Satan moves in to attack.

Today, we will learn how to place the Helmet of Salvation securely over our heads to protect our minds from satanic assaults. Christ has already won the war against Satan through His redemptive work on the cross and His miraculous resurrection.  We just need to stand firm and use the armor God has given us as his children to hold the line against Satan's attacks.
