Is it okay to live in the moment? Yes but we are not to be defined by the moment. In fact, it’s how God has designed us to live depending on Him daily, in all the moments. To not be anxious about tomorrow; but to instead live for today, dependent on Him step by step.
As followers of Jesus, we are invited by the Word of God, His Holy Scriptures, to live differently. To live moment-by-moment but with an eternal perspective. This doesn’t mean we do not attend to pressing matters, rather we do not loss ‘sight’ of what lasts.
In this message from 1 Thessalonians 2:17-3:13, we explore how the Apostle Paul faced delay, discouragement, and spiritual opposition; but stayed faithful through it all by keeping an eternal focus.
Discover how our eternal perspective fuels present faithfulness, and how you too can live each moment with purpose, joy, and trust in God’s unshakable promises.
