During today's episode, we will chat about perfectionism and how striving to reach it can be great at some points in your life but also can be immobilizing. As we tackle our everyday tasks, we have to remember that we need to grant ourselves some grace. Release the unnecessary pressure to be anything but you. In the eyesight of God, you are special because He made you that way. In all of that, remember it's okay to do away with the polish. It's a fact that we will make mistakes at times. We are human. Allow others to see the heart of you, and in the end, you will shine brighter than ever before!

Have you ever been in a crowded room full of people and still felt alone? I think we can all agree that this is usually during the low points of our lives. We would love to believe that everything will go according to plan as we go about our day. Right? We also KNOW that this is the furthest from the truth, and we will definitely have some sort of unexpected curve ball thrown at us. This is such a frustrating feeling, but instead of dealing with it at that moment, we tuck it away and keep moving. The issue with this is, as we continue to "Tuck things away," they begin to pile up, and because we refuse to share our struggles with anyone, we begin to internalize everything. We do this because we choose to handle everything ALONE, and no one knows what we are truly facing. This is when the overwhelming feeling of loneliness comes in a while, sitting in a crowded room full of people. No one knows your struggle, and you feel so ALONE.
During today's podcast, we will chat about the benefits that come along with feeling alone and frustrated.

Dealing with Grief and sadness can be extremely difficult. When you lose someone dear to your heart, it can be tough to process. In the beginning, you feel completely NUMB. You are instantly in a state of shock, disbelief and your heart is full of sadness. I know for me, losing my daughters and my dad had to be the most difficult trials I had to endure. If you are anything like me, it's hard to show your true feelings of sadness around others. You seem to find it necessary to put on a brave face and smile even when your heart has been broken into a million pieces. During this episode, we will chat about the brave-hearted and the need to feel strong all of the time. We will open up and have a fireside chat about our true feelings and possibly come to the realization, It's Okay Not to Be Okay.
