Exodus 34:4-8

This week, Pastor Sid concludes our sermon series on reflecting on God's holy name, YHWH. As we have been seeing, YHWH is a loving, forgiving, and gracious God. Yet he does not leave the world to rot in the affects of sin. Out of his love, he wills to redeem all of creation once again to bring about healing and full restoration.

We are called to reflect that redemption here and now, as we wrestle and journey through the consequences of the sins of our parents and also our own sins.

Exodus 34:6-7

This week, Pastor Jonathan continues our sermon series on how God reveals himself as a steadfast, loyal, unfailing, faithful, loving God for us.

In a world of instant gratification, we are called to be more like our Father, like Jesus, through the guidance and strengthening of the Holy Spirit to be more rooted and committed for God and for one another.

Exodus 34:6-7

This week, Pastor Dave continues our series on the name and character of God, YHWH.

Our God is not like us in the sense that he is slow to anger, not quick to point out faults and sins, but is forgiving and loving by character.

The good news is also that he is slow to anger, but he does get angry at the broken, unjust, affects of sin and he desires to make it all proper again.

In the same way, we are invited to be like our heavenly Father, slow to anger, reflecting his goodness for the world.

This week, Pastor Jonathan continues looking at the name of God and who he is.

Our God, the creator of the entire universe is not just some distant divine figure, but one who is compassionate and gracious. He is a loving parent wanting good gifts for his children and he acts to restore all goodness for us and the whole world.

This week, Pastor Dave continues in part 2 of our sermon series on God's holy name: YHWH.

Just like the ancient times when God revealed himself to His people, He continues to reveal himself to us and claims authority and power over all the other 'gods' we have in our lives.

Jesus came in power and defeated the powers and principalities of this world. That is the good news that we have. We get to live in freedom from bondage to our idols, gods, and addictions, whatever they may be.

This week, Pastor Dave begins our new sermon series named "YHWH." These four letters represent our God's personal name, which signifies how he desires to form personal, real relationship with his people.

Our prayer and hope is that we will be able to reflect and abide in God's good, loving character through meditating on His holy name.
