John 3:30

This week, Pastor Sid reminds us of our identities in Christ, no matter what age and season of life we are in.

At any age and time of our lives, our core and deepest identity is beloved children of God. In that way, we are called to be loved and love God and others through the tough journeys of aging.

Ephesians 5:21-32

This week, Pastor Dave witnesses to God's Word on what Resurrected Relationship looks like in marital relationships.

In a society where fidelity and self-sacrificial loving of spouses were not expected, Christians were and are always called to reflect God's goodness and love toward others, including our spouses.

John 15:9-15

This week, Pastor Jonathan continues our sermon series on Resurrected Relationships.

In light of the hope that we have in Christ, that all creation will be restored to its intended goodness, we get to live out that hope here and now through our friendships. We are called to love God and love others in a self-sacrificial, selfless way, just as Christ loves us in this way.

Romans 12:9-13

This week, Pastor Dave begins our new sermon series on what it means to live out our salvation in and through our relationships.

One of the ways we are called to love and bless the world is through hospitality, loving our neighbours and strangers to life.

Colossians 2:8-15

This week, our church was blessed to have welcomed new members and 10 baptisms!

In light of this gift, Dr. Mike Goheen brought us God's Word on the significance of baptism from the letter to the Colossians.

As a follow up of the Q&A session our church's senior youth group had, Pastor Jonathan and Misha sit down with 4 of our youth to re-hash some of the questions that were discussed.

Our calling as disciples of Jesus then, is to meditate on His Word and his presence in all we do. All of life belongs to him.

Continuing from how we got the Bible last week, Pastor Dave witnesses for us how the Word of God leads us to blessing and good works as God first intended.

The Scriptures confront, challenges, and improves us to be righteous and to do good works for His Kingdom.

2 Timothy 3:14-17 & 2 Peter 1:20-21

This week, Pastor Dave starts our new mini sermon series on Scripture (the Bible).

Just as God uses ordinary human beings to fulfill his mission of blessing for the world, he used ordinary human beings to faithfully record and pass on Scripture as we have it today.

Even in the "messy-ness" and complicated process of how we got our Bible, we trust the centrality of God's Word and how it all points to Jesus Christ, our only hope and salvation.

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting two speakers on the topic of Deconstruction and Doubt.

Pastor Jonathan interviewed Dr. Todd Statham and Dr. Peter Schuurman.

Todd Statham (PhD McGill University) is a pastor in the Christian Reformed Church serving The University ofBritish Columbia (Okanagan), where he coordinates the Multifaith Chaplaincy and teaches as a sessional lecturer in English literature (crccampusokanagan.ca)

Peter Schuurman (PhD U Waterloo, World Religions) is a former CRC campus minister (Brock University) and binational leader (campus ministries) and now adjunct professor at Redeemer University and executive director of Global Scholars Canada (Dr. Peter Schuurman | Redeemer University)
