Episode 35| Hope in the Midst of Darkness

As we continue our study in the book of Isaiah, and focus on chapter 9-10, we see God's grace and justice revealed as He brings hope in the midst of darkness.  Israel will be judged for their pride and arrogance, but He is sending a Saviour, who who will rule the world with peace.  God will also make sure that a faithful remnant will be reserved.  The remnant reminds us that God is always faithful to His covenant.

Questions for Personal Application:

1. What signs of pride can be found in your life?  Root them out with repentance, before they grow deeper.

2. How does the faithfulness and rule of God, give you hope during a time of unjust leaders in our country?

3. How are you filling your mind with exalted thoughts of God?  Take moments during your week, to grieve the pain, and losses, but then surrender them to the Lord and then turn to inquire of the Lord, with a heart of trust.
