    As followers of Jesus, celebrating is important! It’s good for your health! The enemy likes it when we look back on the negative. We have to be intentional to focus on the positive. Give yourself a reason to celebrate! Focus on the positive, even if it’s the tiniest bit happy. Mya Angelou says “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” Find something positive to focus on today!

    Celebration doesn’t always come easy, does it? It’s hard to celebrate when your tank is on empty. Are you filling your tank up – attending church? Having quiet time with the Lord? 15 minutes at the beginning of the day will direct the other 23:45 of your day! People who celebrate life tend to be healthier. Get intentional about celebrating.

    Do you remember Kool and the Gang and their 1980s song “Celebrate”? “Celebrate good times, come on!” But what if you are not experiencing “good times” right now? Zephaniah 3:17 says “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love, he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
