Cs: Na Karlově mostě bylo chladno, ale svěžest jarního vzduchu přinášela nový začátek.
En: On Karlův most, it was cold, but the freshness of the spring air brought a new beginning.

Cs: Praha se probouzela a sluneční paprsky barvily hladinu Vltavy do růžových a oranžových tónů.
En: Praha was awakening, and the sun's rays painted the surface of the Vltava in shades of pink and orange.

Cs: Jirí kráčel vedle Marty, jeho mysl zmatená, ale připravená se otevřít.
En: Jirí walked alongside Marta, his mind confused but ready to open up.

Cs: "Víš, Marto," začal Jirí.
En: "You know, Marta," Jirí began.

Cs: "Přišel jsem o práci.
En: "I lost my job.

Cs: Nevím, co dál.

Cs: Marta se na Jirího soucitně podívala.

Cs: Pokračovali v chůzi přes most, zatímco kolem nich pomalu proudili první ranní turisti.
En: They continued walking across the bridge while the first morning tourists slowly flowed around them.

Cs: Jirí se rozhodl svěřit.
En: Jirí decided to confide.

Cs: "Bojím se, že selžu.
En: "I'm afraid of failing.

Cs: Že nikdy nenajdu svůj směr."

Cs: Marta se zamyslela a pak začala vyprávět svůj příběh.

Cs: "Když jsem začínala s malováním, nevěřila jsem si.

Cs: Myslela jsem, že nikdy nebudu dost dobrá.

Cs: Marta pokračovala: "Bouře v nás samotných nás testují, ale občas i dávají sílu.

Cs: Tvoje cesta nekončí, jen začíná novým směrem."

Cs: Jirí poslouchal a cítil, jak se jeho pochybnosti pomalu rozplývají.
En: Jirí listened and felt his doubts slowly fade away.
