Jesus ministry began with Jews and went to the Gentiles as prophesied. Ministry involves love, knowledge and correction. When ministry deviates from our expectation we must trust God.

Hebrews 3:7-19 uses Israel's wilderness failure as a living warning. The Holy Ghost still says, "To day if ye will hear his voice," and the danger is a heart that hears and then hardens. Some came out of Egypt, saw God's works, and still could not enter His rest because of unbelief. This sermon calls hearers to answer God now, watch against unbelief, and hold their confidence in Christ unto the end. Because we have been justified through faith in Jesus Christ, believers can rejoice in peace with God, hope in suffering, and the love demonstrated through Christ's death.
