During our Rapid Response in Cleveland, TX, another community - Temple, TX - was impacted by back-to-back tornadoes over one night. Once our team concluded serving in Cleveland, we were able to love on 75 families in Temple through disaster relief efforts.

Dustin Sullivan is the Rapid Response Director for Eight Days of Hope. While our team was deployed in Cleveland, TX, after flooding, Temple was impacted by two devastating tornadoes, resulting in over 500 damaged structures. Our team was able to shift gears and move over to Temple after serving families in Cleveland.

Since the FIRST rebuild in Bay St. Louis after Hurricane Katrina, Wayne and Margaret VanLandingham have been faithful servant-leaders of EDOH. Over the past 19 years, Wayne and Margaret have poured their hearts into this ministry.

During our first annual Gala last year, we presented an award to Wayne - The "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants" Award. This accolade represents an EDOH leader of 10 years or longer that embodies Christ in everything they do, serves others before themselves, and protects the integrity of the ministry.
