It is one thing to receive revelation, it is another thing to implement it and let it change your life!  As I started learning how to hear God's word for me more frequently I found myself trying to organize, remember and carry out all I was learning. I started to journal differently but I still felt I needed something more. My entire life I felt like I didn't really know how to receive personal revelation. I knew it was possible but I was clearly missing something. I started on a journey with the determination to hear the Spirit more frequently and more clearly.  In the process God taught me 8 things that have transformed my ability to hear Him. I used to feel so frustrated when someone would tell me to "just give your burden to the Lord."  It sounded easy enough, but I had no idea how to do it. When I asked anyone to tell me how, I was never given a clear, actionable answer. Then the Holy Spirit answered my question.
