Hope Through the Fire

On this episode, Bob and Kelly go on location near Pigeon Forge, TN, to interview Rebecca Swain who faced a terrible tragedy as a young girl when she lost her sister in a car accident. Rebecca's sister always desired to be a missionary, but out of tragedy, God used her story to have a world wide influence. You will laugh, cry, and be inspired in this moving episode!

James Bell is back with us to tell the 2nd part of his story.  James and his wife have gone through several years of various trials, from sicknesses to rejection from family, friends and ministry partners, all while following Jesus with their whole life.  James shares how he learned that trials reveal Jesus to us, as we draw closer to him. He describes how suffering also reveals our own faith to us.  Just like Abraham, James learned that his faith was revealed through suffering.

A look at a very familiar story of three young men who had an Even If Moment as they experienced a literal fire in their lives, but they remained faithful to God. Bob and Kelly take a look at their story and explain what an Even If Moment is and how we can apply it to our lives.

We are so excited to begin this journey of hearing stories about God's goodness and faithfulness! We hope you enjoy this intro episode, as we share why we wanted to start a podcast and what we plan on doing for most of our episodes.

Life is full of difficulties, but God is always there through the "fire". And even if our situation does not change, God never changes. It is through the fire that we can find hope and see God take the ashes and turn them into something beautiful for His glory!
