S13, E09

A Fiesty Fiesta 

This episode of Beverly Hills was intense…and it starts with Sutton on a date…and she is not impressed whatsoever. 

Kyle has Annemarie and Dorit over for the world’s largest charcuterie board and also as an excuse to gossip about Sutton’s esophagus some more. Kyle tells them she is producing a one-hour drama and Dorit is upset she is just finding this info out…she also just finds out Kyle branded Morgan with a ‘K’ initial tattoo, and even she raises her eyebrows on this one. 

Erika, Garcelle and Sutton meet for drinks and the vibe is great! We love to see these 3 coming together. 

It’s Taco Tuesday at Crystal’s, and Dorit is pissed Crystal is telling the group she said Sutton was an alcoholic. Dorit was obviously not that worried, because she then shamed Sutton in front of Crystal’s friends when she tells them she had a stack of $1 bills ready for the Magic Mike performers and that she also made out with her driver! Garcelle defends Sutton, and this is where Dorit accuses Garcelle of being aggressive. Garcelle takes issue with Dorit’s continual micro-aggressions toward her, even after being confronted last year. Dorit decides she will leave the party instead of trying to fix anything or be accountable, but before she does, she siccs Erika on Denise. Denise wants Erika to apologize about the threesome comments made in front of her children and about her children from three years ago, and instead of apologizing, Erika goes in hard on her and doesn’t hold back.

Bermuda Birthday Blues

It’s Monica’s birthday in Bermuda and there’s plenty of drama to go around for the Salt Lake City ladies! 

Monica tells the ladies that LD has been making threats of just showing up in Bermuda.

Monica invites Lisa to come with her to meet her family for the first time in ages, which we think is a ploy to gain Lisa‘s trust right she tells Lisa that Meredith thinks Angie is a Greek mafia boss, and there have been DM sent to her with supporting evidence to back this claim up. Lisa thinks Meredith is behind this and using Monica to do her dirty work. 

The ladies go jet skiing and feed snapper, and it doesn’t take Lisa very long to pull Angie to the side and tell her what Meredith is saying. Angie thinks Meredith is a phony baloney fraud. 

Monica’s Bermudian family cancels on their visit at the very last minute; Monica immediately thinks LD had something to do with it; but it turns out Monica’s family was only in contact with production.

It’s Monica’s birthday dinner, and all the ladies are supposed to dress up in their best pirate or wench costumes… Everyone does a great job except for Lisa Barlow, of course. Lisa doesn’t do costumes, but she WAS digging for gold. 

Heather and Monica get into it when Monica asks a personal question that she didn’t feel comfortable with. Angie interrupts the fight between Heather and Monica to confront Meredith on the fact she has heard she has been saying she is a part of the Greek mafia. Meredith adamantly denies all claims, in the most underwhelming way possible. Lisa and Whitney tell Meredith they think she is behind the DM‘s to Monica because she has a history of doing this type of thing.

 It really seems like Meredith doesn’t have many friends in this group anymore. Where is Mary Cosby when you need her?
