Acts 13:1-12

Paul and Barnabas are called by the Holy Spirit to be missionaries and their first stop is Cyprus. In this passage we see that the Holy Spirit calls some to vocational ministry and through them he brings people out of spiritual darkness into the marvelous light of Christ.

Acts 12 is depicts Herod arresting and killing James the brother of John and arresting Peter. God in his providential wisdom and care saved Peter. As we examine this passage we'll see:

Pastor Chris resumes his series in Acts today. As we examine Acts 6:1-7, we'll see that healthy churches have both a robust ministry of word and sacrament and a robust ministry of mercy.

Mark 16

The resurrection is a central doctrine to the Christian faith. If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain as is our faith. We often wonder, "Did Christ really rise from the dead? Or is this just myth?" Pastor Chris deals with those concerns as he explains and expounds Mark 16 showing the truth of the resurrection, the meaning of the resurrection, and the grace in the resurrection.
