Who’s role is it? The difference between what we say we believe and what we practice is what we actually believe! Sometimes, we ask God to do the things He told us to do, and we try to do the things He said He would do. Sometimes we blame God for things we were supposed to fix. Knowing our roles is essential to living a practical Christianity every day of the week.

In the Old Testament, people would sanctify themselves to get ready to experience God, and have him work through them. Today, we sanctify ourselves to experience God and be used by Him by humbling ourselves.

By choosing to be proud, we are choosing to contend with God rather than be used by Him! If we want to live out a real practical Christian life we need to humble ourselves!
