Horne Lake Caves

In today’s vlog we are going on an adventure: a guided tour of Horne Lake Caves, just north of Parksville on on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It is approximately a two and a half hour drive from Victoria B.C. Our guide was so knowledgeable and hilariously entertaining as well. We climbed deep down into the depths of the earth and learned so much about life forms that haven’t even been discovered yet. The rock formations were absolutely gorgeous. At one point we all turned our head lanterns off and you wouldn’t have believed how dark and quiet it was. 

I highly recommend the guided tour. Definitely bring gloves. 

Just to reiterate, this was filmed in June of 2019. It is with so much gratitude that we are releasing these vlogs that we were able to film last summer and with all our fingers and toes crossed that we will be able to go out and do similar things this summer.
