Games of the year season has begun in this oddball of a trip around the sun. Jubs joins to hear Justin and Ryan make their pitches for games that not enough people have played in order to get them considered for awards. Plus, Battlefield? Again?

Ryan is out here with a racing wheel prepurchasing Game Pass games. Justin is ready for the next evolution of horde games. Eventually 2021 is going to have a games of the year celebration, but how? Plus, Dune is good looking.

The Gauntlet makes its first non game of the year appearance to rank the Nintendo 64 games just released for the Nintendo Switch. Justin wants everyone to lay off of Turtle Rock. Ryan thinks we forgot about Steep. Plus, Homer’s raven.

Justin sees some reasons to play in Halo Infinite’s sandbox. Ryan wonders what could have been for an MVGU. Cold weather backpacking is better in warm hotel rooms with a mediocre episode of SNL. Plus, Inscryption is the right kind of weird.

Beyond the FanDome lies a detective movie longer than this podcast. Ryan wants to ride with the republic, but might be stuck in Mexico. Justin isn’t having these Batman adjacent video games. Plus, Monster Hunter belongs on PC.
