The First Purge is the prequel in the Purge franchise and depicts how an experiment that started on Staten Island quickly went nationwide. I’m joined by my sister, Susane, and we discuss how we’re usually not fans of sequels, especially with horror films, but this one was really well made.

Happy Wednesday! I’m joined by Carlos Harris and we discuss The Purge: Election Year. Leo Barnes is back and this time he’s protecting Senator Charlie Roan who wants to end The Purge due to tragically losing her family 18 years ago. The NFFA isn’t too pleased she is gaining traction with voters so the original rule of government officials ranked 10 or higher is removed — everyone is free game. There’s also Laney, aka “Pequeña Muerte,” bodega owner, Joe and his employee Marcos. Plus, everyone’s favorite teenage psycho, Kimmy!

1 hr 34 min - Episode 46: Queen of the Damned
You see, I cannot be forsaken because this movie had everything younger me loved: vampires, rock, and goth! Yet, it is not good. But, I am faithful to it and will continue to watch and suggest it. Queen of the Damned combines two of Anne Rice’s novels based on the vampire Lestat. The movie is clunky, silly, and ridiculously early 2000’s.
