Overview We come to a fairly new horror movie based on the found footage genre. This one uses web cam footage to show us the story and paint the horrific events. Will definitely make you check that your anti-virus is updated. Our own genre choices are a combination of snuff film and internet horror. There’s […]

Overview We continue with our season 02 visitations by visiting Ireland. Besides the great accent (at least for Americans) and the beautiful country – we have a monster. Big old tentacled beastie. This movie is a wonderful homage to all the great monster movies from the 50’s through 80’s. It is full of every trope […]

Overview We start of season 02 with a bang – just like season 01. This is not a light movie, but it is interesting. We discuss the multi-layered story that happens here. While this movie isn’t for everyone, for those that can see the art of it – it’s definitely one to sit and discuss. […]

Overview The Loved Ones looks like a teen slasher comedy, you know, like some of the popular stuff in the 70’s to 90’s. This movie is anything BUT that. We break up our comedy section of the season with another psychological disturbing and dark horror movie. This is another movie worth a 2nd watch. For […]

Overview Based on all the very intense horror films we’ve had this season, you’d think horror comedy doesn’t even exist. Oh, my friend, you would be so wrong. Enter Suck – a vampire comedy that is almost a musical. The basic story is about a small time band that becomes famous when they start turning […]

Overview Another vampire movie, which is interesting because we have 3 vampire movies in season 01 and Rhys doesn’t really care for vampire movies. That should tell you how different they are. Anyway, Let the Right One In shows vampires in a different way than most other movies. First, the vampire is a kid. Second, […]

Overview This is an interesting movie for a couple reasons. One of the things to note is that it was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark 2. These are very popular for small budget films and between that and computers, anyone can make a movie. This is another disturbing movie and you spend quite […]
