This week, the Crew sinks their teeth into The Wolf Man (2025), the latest Universal Monsters reboot starring Christopher Abbott and directed by Leigh Whannell. With a blend of suspense, gore, and some very hairy family drama, this one left us howling—and maybe even sympathizing—with the monster.

Plus, we debut HMC Vampire Hunters – Episode 3: “Late Checkout”, where the gang faces off against a terrifying new breed—vampire werewolves—running a cursed roadside motel. Wooden stakes aren't enough this time, and Seth might have finally met his match in a lycanthropic line cook.

Josh breaks down wolf transformation logistics, Seth questions if this counts as a “hot monster,” and Jess swears she could’ve survived that final chase scene. Spoiler: She’s probably right.

This week, the Crew dives into Heretic (2024), A24’s tense psychological horror-thriller starring Hugh Grant, Chloe East, and Sophie Thatcher. What starts as a simple door-to-door mission turns into a twisted battle of beliefs, manipulation, and survival. With a creepy attic, a bloodstained confession booth, and more questions than answers, this one gave us plenty to chew on.

Also in this episode: HMC Vampire Hunters – Episode 2: “Blood & Buns” where the gang takes on a group of fang-toothed fiends hiding out in a bakery. Exploding vampires, enchanted bagels, and Jess’s electrified undergarments—what more could you want?

Seth thinks he could absolutely escape that attic, Josh can't stop asking what the “one true religion” really is, and Jess once again proves she’s the most logical horror movie character we know.
