Welcome back to the Zone! Mike C, Rich, and Ron are back in studio to bring you our take on the Horror genre. This week we bring you horror news, our insights and opinions, and most of all fun! We actually get off the tracks a few times in this episode, which really leads to some fun! Enough of that though, here's what's on tap in The Zone:

 

News Segment 1: We open the show with some breaking news, as the trailer for Joker just dropped before we recorded, so we give our takes on it. We also discuss Mark Hamil as the voice of Chucky in the upcoming Child's Play remake, and the newly found original opening to Halloween 5!

 

News Segment 2: We had so much news that 1 segment wasn't enough! In the second news segment the guys discuss, the Friday the 13th fan film Vengeance, also news on how you can get a hard copy of Never Hike Alone. We switch gears and talk about the release dates of The Conjuring 3 and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. HORROR NEWS: This week we discuss a lot of different news articles, including some breaking news. We start by talking about the new Critters show coming to Shudder, and a new Critters movie coming to SyFy, and Rich is ecstatic! Then we discuss the breaking new trailer for Bright Burn, the first trailer for Mid Sommar, the trailer for I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu, and so much more!

 

TRIPLE THREAT: We have finally gotten the chance to do this, as it was planned for Valentines Day, but due to circumstances, finally we have it. Better late then never. So how this works is we are pitting 3 Valentines Horror movies against each other, and by using certain criteria, we decide which is the best. The movies are, My Bloody Valentine (1981), Valentine (2001), and My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009). Feel free to play along at home, and let us know who you think won!

 

TALKING HORROR: Using an interview that was done with Jordan Peele, Mike C asks the same questions asked to the director, to us. So we dive deep into what we love, and dislike in Horror movies. It's super fun, and a great insight into what we like.
