Day 177 | Hosea 2:14–8:14
The book of Hosea continues with a jarring act of grace: God tells Hosea to go and redeem his unfaithful wife, buying her back despite betrayal and public shame. This living parable reveals the heart of God—a faithful Redeemer who pursues, loves, and restores even the most wayward people. As Israel runs to Egypt and Assyria instead of turning to the Lord, the tragedy deepens. Yet, woven throughout the warnings and heartbreak is a promise of hope: God will once again call His people “loved” and “mine.”
Hosts: Ben Taylor, Michael Pritchard
