Hosers Panel is back this week right in the middle of Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs! At the time of recording 2 teams have already punched their tickets to Round 2 with a 3rd team doing so right after the recording finished! Most series are still too close to call and there has definitely not been a shortage of huge moments, headlines and TONS of Overtime action that the Hosers Recap from the first full week of Playoff hockey! The Hosers start with the 2 series that have already been decided then jump around to all other series that were still in progress. Right in the middle of it, they discuss "Should the Oilers trade Connor McDavid?" as well as "Should Connor McDavid ask for a trade?". Make sure to tune in to that cause the thoughts come flying fast and heavy! After looking into the series, news, suspensions and everything NHL the past week, the Panel looks at the crazy results coming from Latvia in the Men's Hockey World Championships that are absolutely mind blowing!

Hosers Panel is back this week for the with the start of the NHL Playoffs and the first few games did not disappoint! In what could be one of the most exciting and thrilling Playoffs in many years, the Hosers breakdown the series that have already played their Game 1, a couple that are occurring during the recording and a look ahead to the last few series that have yet to begin! Although nothing on the ice has happened yet there is a lot of news coming out of Montreal, and some currently questionable decisions by the Habs coaching staff, that could take effect for Game 1. The Panel look at the West playoff matchups, now finalized as when last week's episode was recorded the standings were different, causing predictions made on matchups that did not come to fruition. It took 3 games in the Playoffs to break an NHL record and it took 6 games in to the Playoffs for a team to finally obtain a 2 goal LEAD! Hosers Panel is back and it is officially time to switch gears and look forward into the NHL Postseason! Before we give all of our predictions on the series, the Hosers had to jump back and look at all the crazy events that took place in the past week, starting with Tom Wilson receiving no suspension and just a $5,000 fine, causing many aftershock effects, mostly involving the New York Rangers organization, the firing of their GM and President of Hockey Operations, and then to put a cherry on top of it all, the teams played just 48 HOURS after the original altercation, and it was a bloodbath! Two NHL coaches got let go by their clubs, Kessel hits two different 900 milestones, and McDavid hits 100 points in JUST 53 GAMES!! The Panel gives their series predictions for all 8 projected playoff series, now that all 16 teams have been confirmed! Hosers Panel is back this week and are instantly diving into the potential suspension and instant analysis of Tom Wilson vs the entire Rangers team. Wilson, who is no stranger to Player Safety, had his wires cross in a bad way against the Rangers right before we started recording and we give a full breakdown and opinion on what we think the outcome could be. Next, the NHL officially got bigger this week as the Seattle Kraken ownership team made their last payment to the NHL, becoming the 32nd NHL franchise and can now make trades and sign players all leading up to their big expansion draft set for July 21st! News out of the Czech Republic, is that Jaromir Jagr is not quite done playing hockey and will look to return for next season. Nobody should be surprised by now, as Jagr who is 49 years old is still producing well and we would not put it past him if he played until he was 65! The U18s are currently taking place in Texas and a couple of 2023 Draft eligible players are putting the world on high alert, as if the hype on Bedard and Michkov was not high enough these dudes are tearing up the Tournament! Caufield scores his first 2 NHL goals, Krebs records his first point, Byfield gets an assist, then has it taken away and more from a quick rundown on prospects entering the NHL. Lastly, we congratulate Ryan Miller on a stellar career as he announced this week that he will be hanging up his skates after this season is complete! Hosers Panel is back this week and instantly jump into the history made Monday night as Patrick Marleau passes Gordie Howe for the most NHL games played in the history of the League. The Hosers dive into some of the crazier Marleau stats over his very long career and debate whether or not he deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame! From old to young, the Panel takes a look at Bob McKenzie's 2021 draft rankings that were released Monday and breakdown the top 10 with a few honourable mentions! The fellas also dive into Igor Larianov II tweets suggesting that the NHL/AHL/ECHL should become a 3-tier league, similar to soccer in Europe and give their opinions on what some of the successes as well as potential problems could be with implementing this new structure. Hosers Panel is back one week out from the NHL Trade deadline and start off by discussing the Tim Peel hot mic/firing situation that we somehow forgot to talk about last week. Next, a couple of the biggest NHL stars found themselves in hot water with the League as both Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid received fines for their actions on the ice this past week. We discuss the fines, if suspensions should have been handed out, as well as what special treatment, if any, should NHL stars receive from the league and on-ice officials. Some of the top NCAA prospects have officially signed with their NHL teams creating the next wave of stars seeming to be on their way to the Show, and making their impact felt in the very near future! The Habs trade for Eric Staal immediately pays dividends for them as he scores the OT winner in his first game in the Red and Blue. As always, Hosers Big 3 caps off the episode as we look back at the standout performances from the past week. The Hosers are back for another week! We came this close to a Sabres win this week, but yet again, they fail to do so moving their losing streak to 18 games now. Recording during NHL games occurring has its benefits as the Hosers do a live debate on the 'good' goal that was reviewed for a kicking motion in the Jets/Flames game. Where did you fall on the decision of the refs? We also breakdown Carter Hart's downfall, and given his current 2 game healthy scratch, what the Flyers next steps should be with Hart and what his next contract could look like this offseason. The problems in Philly are not limited to Hart though, and the Panel discusses what is going wrong in the City of Brotherly Love. The trades are starting to heat up with Eric Staal being moved to the Habs creating a very deep forward core that just got even deeper with the signing of their top prospect Cole Caufield after his team was eliminated in the NCAA tournament this weekend. What are the expectations for "Goal" Caufield this year heading into the postseason? After Darryl Sutter called out Gaudreau in a question about his 500th career game, the Hosers look at the current state of the Flames and what changes should be on the way, if the struggles continue. Lastly, the milestones were flowing this week with Patrick Marleau taking over sole possession of 2nd place in the all-time games played list as well as Keith Yandle hitting 900 straight games played for his current Iron Man streak, marking just the 3rd player in history to hit that mark! Hosers Panel is back again this week, and it is getting too funny not to mention, another week has gone by and the Sabres again failed to win a hockey game. The streak has reached 14 straight with no end in sight. The Hosers jump right in with a deep dive on the two biggest favourites entering this season who have both seemed to hit their stride and are flashing their full potential after a little bit of a slow starts. The boys also take a look at the current status of the major NHL Awards at the half way point into the season, make their updated picks for the awards and look back at who their initial choices were. One more suspension as well as a questionable hit leave the Hosers continuously confused with NHL Officials as well as Player Safety department. The Hosers also give their opinions on their choices for the final spot in the Central division, if McDavid will hit 100 points this season, and if Carter Hart can bounce back from the horrific season he is having thus far. This week we got to witness a fake-Michigan goal out of the USPHL which blew a lot of people's minds, especially the opposing team's goalie and defensemen, could we see this attempted in the NHL?!
