Almost every writer in the New Testament talks somewhere about the importance of practicing “hospitality”, yet we don’t talk about it much in the modern church. Today we explore this important word: what it means, why we should do it, and the value it has to our mission to impact the world with the good news of Jesus.
Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:
1. What are your first thoughts when you hear the word hospitality?
2. Matt talked about hospitality as an ‘action’ and an ‘attitude’. How do these two aspects of hospitality challenge the way you live life?
3. Biblical hospitality is a lot more than food and entertaining people. How could you practice hospitality in your life in ways that match your personality, gifts and lifestyle?
