Cassius Clay lived and trained in Miami. After the Championship match Mr. Clay joined the Nation of Islam and was given the name of Muhammad Ali. Due the Legal Jim Crow laws Cassius Clay was not allowed to live or enjoy recreation on Miami Beach. His celebration was at his room in the Historic Hampton with his close friends Football Star Jim Brown, Singer Sam Cooke, and Malcolm X of the Nation of Islam.
