Emily has been re-reading Washington Post columnist Petula Dvorak and her feminist-related articles.

Hannah is reminiscing about Madeleine L'engle (Wrinkle in Time and other YA books) and very much looking forward to the new film adaptation with Oprah and a number of other awesome ladies.

Haley has been reading 'Akata Witch' by Nnedi Okorafor (more YA) a Nigerian-American author putting out some serious Harry Potter magical-esque vibes.

Kendall is reading 'The Girls' by Emma Kline; a first novel from a stupendous new author dealing with a classic coming-of-age story in a cult. 

This week we're chatting about some concerning concerning college application processes, Oz's completely brilliant problem-solving, and a really fucking creepy box in episode 319, "Choices"

This week we're taking a break from Season 3 to reminisce about some of our favorite Buffy moments, shout out to some awesome cast interviews and think pieces, and generally celebrate 20 years of slaying.
