There is a light at the end of the tunnel everyone!! Normality is slowly but surely coming back so this week we've decided to reflect on the last year of our lives and take a minute to discuss what happened to all of us. There was definitely a mix of good and bad but overall the general consensus seems to be that we all grew and developed as people. We also talk about some of the accomplishments you guys have achieved and our own (namely this podcast). We have decided to test our friendship for you guys this week and ask each other some questions, that if we truly are best friends we should know the answers to! Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) we both got a lot of them right, we even had some of the same answers. We tested each other on our choice of alcohol, what we would do on a desert island and describing our perfect men! We hope you guys enjoy and perhaps even know us a bit better now! This week's episode we're chatting absolute nonsense while Clíodhna tattoos Ruth's fingers!! We end up talking about anything and everything, such as, crazy dreams that involve the Grinch (is Ruth okay?), stalking boys who work in Dundrum, periods and of course our weekly catch-up of everything we got up to since the last time we saw each other! A more serious note this week as we discuss Netflix's most recent documentary, 'Seaspiracy'. We breakdown our thoughts, the message that we took from watching it and perhaps some changes we're going to make in our lives in order to help save the planet (which we should all be trying to do in some shape or form). We also mention a few other documentaries that we watched and the possible pros and cons of everything but ultimately we only have one Earth and it needs our help! The highly anticipated return of our tinder catastrophes!! It's our 10th episode this week! Can you believe it? The time has FLOWN!! Today we are sharing some stories from nights out that you woke up the next morning thinking what the hell happened the night before and was it even real??  Some weird and crazy things seem to happen to us and our audience. Well well well the time machine is back again and this time we're going to what we can guarantee was the prime of all our lives... THE WEZZ!! Everything about this disco was peak, from the music, the outfits, the sweaty walls, the BOYS you got to kiss... it was iconic, to say the least. We leave no stone unturned when discussing all the antics that went down in this place and of course there is an honourable mention to the man himself, you know who we're talking about. Today we are starting the conversation about fast fashion and all the issues surrounding it! We're really only dipping our toes into what is a huge global problem but we're here to discuss what we know about it. We begin with how it can sometimes be unavoidable for people but also suggest ways to make the move towards slow fashion, with some tips on how to be more sustainable. It's all about being more aware of your actions and any step in the right direction is better than nothing.
