If alcohol has been hitting you differently; your sleep off, your energy lower, your body feeling more inflamed; this episode is going to make that make sense.
You haven’t changed your habits that much.
And what used to feel neutral… now feels like it lingers.
In this episode, we break down what alcohol is actually doing in your body in this phase, and why it’s showing up differently now.
This isn’t just about the drink.
It’s about how your body processes it now.
When your hormones are fluctuating and your system is already under more demand, alcohol hits differently:
That doesn’t mean you have to cut it out.
But it does mean it’s worth understanding the impact, so you’re not working against your body without realizing it.
👉 Create a 2–3 day gap between drinking
Not cutting it out.
Just start here.
Why:
Simple ways to do it:
👉 This is about creating space so your body can recover, not taking something away
If you want a simple breakdown of what’s actually happening in your body right now and how to start adjusting without overcomplicating it:
👉 Take 5 and get The Breakdown
I will personally review your answers and return a full report back to you within 5–7 business days that will help you stop guessing and find a way to move forward that finally makes sense for you.

We’re going to keep breaking this down in a way that actually fits your life, so you can stop guessing and start building something that holds.
If your body has been feeling off, your energy unpredictable, your sleep disrupted, your mood shorter than usual, this episode is going to make that make sense.
You’re not imagining it.
But what makes this confusing is that what you’re feeling doesn’t point to just one thing.
In this episode, we break down the overlap between perimenopause and burnout; what’s actually happening in your body, and why pushing harder isn’t the solution.
This isn’t just hormones.
It’s an overlap of systems that are both under pressure.
When your hormones are fluctuating and your nervous system is constantly activated, your body becomes more sensitive, and less responsive to the things that used to work.
That doesn’t mean your body is broken.
It means it needs a different kind of support.
👉 Add a 10-minute down-regulation window at night
Not a full nighttime routine.
Just start here.
Why:
Simple ways to do it:
👉 This is about giving your body a signal that it’s safe to power down

If you feel like you keep falling off… this episode is going to shift how you see that completely.
You’ve tried to be consistent.
But your life doesn’t run on a perfect schedule.
That’s where things break.
In this episode, we break down why discipline isn’t the problem...and how rigid plans are setting you up to fail in a life that doesn’t sit still.
You don’t need to tighten things up.
You need something that holds when your day doesn’t go to plan.
Because if your plan only works when everything is calm,
Real consistency isn’t about doing everything right.
It’s about having something to fall back on when things aren’t.
👉 Find and define your floor
Not your best day.
Your floor.
What that means:
Your floor is the version of your habits that you can still follow on your busiest, most unpredictable days.
It’s what keeps you from doing nothing.
Why:
Simple examples of a floor:
👉 This is where minimum effective habits live

If you’ve been feeling like your body changed overnight, this episode is going to make that make sense.
You’re still showing up.
The puffiness.
This isn’t random.
In this episode, we break down what’s actually happening underneath all of that, and why your body is responding the way it is right now.
Your body isn’t malfunctioning.
It’s adapting.
When you’re constantly moving, thinking, pushing, and managing everything, your body shifts into survival mode.
And from there:
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about showing your body it’s safe to stop bracing.

Mom guilt isn’t just emotional...it’s physiological.
In this episode, we unpack how chronic mom guilt quietly drives stress responses in the body, why that stress blocks healing, and what actually helps, beyond “thinking positive” or doing more.
This is for the mom who:
Feels guilty resting
Feels guilty working
Feels guilty staying home
Feels guilty prioritizing her health
Feels like no matter what she does, it’s never enough
And yet… wonders why her body won’t respond.
Mom guilt isn’t a character flaw.
Constant self-monitoring
Fear of letting others down
Internalized expectations
Lack of true rest or recovery
📊 Research shows chronic perceived stress activates the same physiological stress pathways as external threats, even when nothing “bad” is happening.
When guilt becomes constant, the body doesn’t feel safe.
That leads to:
Elevated or flattened cortisol patterns
Poor sleep quality
Increased inflammation
Blood sugar instability
Hormone disruption
Slower metabolism and healing
📊 Studies show prolonged cortisol dysregulation is linked to fatigue, weight retention, anxiety, and impaired immune function.
You can eat well.
But if your nervous system is stuck in:
Hyper-responsibility
Self-criticism
Emotional vigilance
…the body prioritizes survival over repair.
📊 Healing processes (digestion, hormone balance, tissue repair) only fully activate when the nervous system perceives safety.
Unchecked mom guilt often shows up as:
Burnout that doesn’t resolve
“Unexplained” symptoms
Emotional numbness or overwhelm
Feeling disconnected from your body
Frustration with health plans that don’t work
📊 Research links emotional suppression and chronic guilt to higher inflammatory markers and poorer stress recovery.
What doesn’t help:
More discipline
More restriction
More pressure
Pushing through exhaustion
What does help:
Nervous system regulation
Understanding stress patterns in your body (Inside our GET REGULATED™ System)
Removing self-blame through data and clarity
Supporting healing without adding more to your plate
This is where regulation changes everything.
You are not failing.
When we stop blaming moms and start supporting their nervous systems, healing becomes possible again.
Moms who feel stuck in their health
Women who feel guilty resting or prioritizing themselves
Anyone who’s tried “everything” and still feels exhausted
Moms ready to heal without shame, pressure, or burnout
Healing doesn’t require you to become a better mom.
And that starts with understanding, not guilt.
Join us inside Get Regulated™, we get started the second week of January 2026!
In this episode, we go straight into the heart of a silent struggle so many women carry alone.
It’s for the woman who loves being a homemaker, who loves creating a home, who loves caring for her family…
It’s the episode for the woman who feels replaced by a fantasy she can never, and should never, compete with.
We’re breaking that open today.
Why so many women feel like they’re losing to a younger, childless version of womanhood, and why that feeling isn’t actually rooted in truth.
We talk about fantasy vs. reality, and why partners sometimes escape into the idea of “someone easier,” and what that actually signals (hint: it isn’t that you’re not enough).
A raw look at how becoming a mother deepens your identity, wisdom, emotional capacity, and power… even when the world doesn’t recognize it.
Including:
Releasing the pressure to be the woman you were before kids
Returning to your own approval
Redefining homemaking as world-building
Choosing nourishment over punishment
Healing the “never enough” narrative in your body, not just your mind
A truth-telling conversation about letting go of the fantasy self and honoring the deeply lived, deeply layered woman you’ve become.
The closing message every mother, wife, and exhausted, stretched-thin woman needs to hear.
You feel like your husband admires women you can’t relate to anymore
You compare yourself to your pre-baby body or pre-kid life
You feel invisible or taken for granted
You love your role at home but also want to feel chosen, seen, valued
You’re tired of feeling like you’re not enough — in your marriage, in your body, in your life
You are not losing.
You are becoming — deeper, wiser, fuller.
If this episode spoke to you, share it with a woman who needs the reminder today.
And if you’re ready to heal your stress, hormones, and nervous system from the inside out, the Get Regulated™ Beta is officially open!!

Something’s off.
You’re not starting from zero; you’ve put in the work, you’ve seen the results before, and then… life happens. The kids get sick, the shift runs late, or your hormones shift, and suddenly that "perfect" plan slips. You’re back at Monday morning, trying to figure out why it didn't stick this time.
That’s the part that doesn’t add up.
I’m Stacy Fayling, a BSN-prepared nurse and holistic health coach. I’ve spent years navigating the same "all-or-nothing" cycle, and what I’ve realized, in my own clinical practice and my own life, is that it’s never been a lack of effort. It’s that the rules we’ve been given don’t hold up in real life.
Your body doesn’t just respond to a workout or a green juice you do once in a while. It responds to what your life actually looks like: your stress, your sleep, your habits, your non-stop schedule, and your biology.
On She Wakes Up: Her Body in Real Life, we’re moving past the 30-day challenges and "influencer" hacks. We’re diving into:
The Perimenopause Shift: Why your 20s-era tactics are failing you now.
Clinical Strategy: Using nursing science & holistic methods to manage cortisol, metabolism, and energy.
Sustainable Habits: How to stay consistent when your schedule as a busy mom changes every 15 minutes.
The End of "Day One": Real-life health that stays, even when life gets messy.
If you’re a woman in her 30s or 40s ready to stop "starting over" and start sustaining, this is for you.
It’s time to find health that fits your actual life.
Hit follow and let’s get to it!
