Welcome babe to the She Wakes Up Podcast,
In this thought-provoking episode, we dive deep into the dynamics between men, women, and the desire for change within relationships. We explore how women often take on the role of fixers and healers, attempting to change their partners.
However, the truth is that change cannot be forced or achieved through nagging or making someone feel inadequate. We also examine how this well-intentioned behavior can unknowingly sabotage relationships and how Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs emphasizes the importance of security before love and connectedness.
Episode Highlights:
6. The Importance of Open Communication in Relationship Growth and Misalignment
In this eye-opening episode, we've explored the challenging truth about men, women, and the desire for change within relationships. We've learned that change cannot be forced or achieved through negative tactics, and that our well-intentioned actions may inadvertently sabotage the very connections we seek. By understanding Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and prioritizing security and support, we can create an environment where personal growth can flourish while maintaining the foundation of a healthy relationship. It's time to embrace acceptance, empathy, and open communication to foster love and growth in a truly transformative way.
Note: This podcast episode aims to stimulate thought and discussion around gender dynamics and personal growth within relationships. It is important to approach these topics with sensitivity and respect for diverse perspectives and experiences.

Welcome to Episode 71, we are going to talk about the 5 stages of healing. Healing is a complex process that involves different stages of emotional and physical transformation. In this episode, we will explore the five stages of healing, including denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
Segment 1: Denial
The first stage of healing is denial, which is a natural defense mechanism that helps people cope with difficult situations. At this stage, people may refuse to accept the reality of their situation or the severity of their illness. Denial can help people feel a sense of control over their situation, but it can also delay the healing process.
Segment 2: Anger
The second stage of healing is anger. People may feel angry about their situation and may lash out at others or themselves. Anger is a normal and healthy emotion, but it's important to find constructive ways to express it.
Segment 3: Bargaining
The third stage of healing is bargaining. At this stage, people may try to negotiate with a higher power or medical professionals to change their situation. They may also make deals with themselves or others to try to find a way out of their predicament.
Segment 4: Depression
The fourth stage of healing is depression. This stage can be difficult, as people may feel overwhelmed, helpless, and hopeless. It's important to seek support and help during this stage, as depression can be a serious condition that requires treatment.
Segment 5: Acceptance
The final stage of healing is acceptance. At this stage, people come to terms with their situation and begin to move forward. Acceptance doesn't mean that people are happy about their situation, but rather that they have found a way to live with it and move on.
Healing is a journey that involves different stages, including denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Each stage is important and can help people cope with their situation and find a way forward. If you or someone you know is going through a difficult time, it's important to seek help and support. Remember that healing is possible, and that there is hope for a better future. Thank you for listening to this episode on the five stages of healing.

In this episode, we'll be discussing how to recognize the signs of healing from trauma. Trauma can have a significant impact on a person's life, and the healing process can be long and challenging. However, there are signs that someone is healing from trauma, and recognizing these signs can be incredibly helpful in the healing process.
Understanding Trauma- Trauma is a deeply distressing or disturbing experience that overwhelms a person's ability to cope. It can cause physical, emotional, and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Signs of Healing from Trauma
Increased self-awareness: When someone is healing from trauma, they often become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This self-awareness can help them identify triggers and cope with them in a healthy way.
Improved relationships: Trauma can affect someone's ability to form and maintain healthy relationships. However, as they heal, they may find that their relationships improve. They may become better at communicating and setting boundaries, and they may develop deeper connections with the people in their lives.
Decreased symptoms: The symptoms of trauma can be debilitating, but as someone heals, they may notice a decrease in symptoms. They may experience less anxiety, fewer nightmares, and less hypervigilance.
Increased resilience: Healing from trauma can be a long and difficult journey, but as someone progresses, they may become more resilient. They may develop a greater sense of strength and the ability to bounce back from setbacks.
How to Support Someone Healing from Trauma If you know someone who is healing from trauma, there are several ways you can support them. Some ways include:
Healing from trauma is a challenging journey, but recognizing the signs of healing can be incredibly empowering. By understanding the signs and offering support, we can help those who are healing from trauma move forward on their journey.

Something’s off.
You’re not starting from zero; you’ve put in the work, you’ve seen the results before, and then… life happens. The kids get sick, the shift runs late, or your hormones shift, and suddenly that "perfect" plan slips. You’re back at Monday morning, trying to figure out why it didn't stick this time.
That’s the part that doesn’t add up.
I’m Stacy Fayling, a BSN-prepared nurse and holistic health coach. I’ve spent years navigating the same "all-or-nothing" cycle, and what I’ve realized, in my own clinical practice and my own life, is that it’s never been a lack of effort. It’s that the rules we’ve been given don’t hold up in real life.
Your body doesn’t just respond to a workout or a green juice you do once in a while. It responds to what your life actually looks like: your stress, your sleep, your habits, your non-stop schedule, and your biology.
On She Wakes Up: Her Body in Real Life, we’re moving past the 30-day challenges and "influencer" hacks. We’re diving into:
The Perimenopause Shift: Why your 20s-era tactics are failing you now.
Clinical Strategy: Using nursing science & holistic methods to manage cortisol, metabolism, and energy.
Sustainable Habits: How to stay consistent when your schedule as a busy mom changes every 15 minutes.
The End of "Day One": Real-life health that stays, even when life gets messy.
If you’re a woman in her 30s or 40s ready to stop "starting over" and start sustaining, this is for you.
It’s time to find health that fits your actual life.
Hit follow and let’s get to it!
