This week we hear a story of strength, overcoming and resilience told by Gabrielle Beasley. Like many of us, Gabrielle has experienced some very dark seasons in her life that could have left her hopeless. Instead, she has managed to find the purpose in even the darkest seasons of her life and is now in what she calls the best season of her life. Hear her describe the strategies she’s used to arrive at this new season.

It’s been one whole year since we said goodbye to my sister Lela and she transitioned to her final resting place with the Lord. We definitely miss her like crazy, think about her daily,  and share stories about her often. What I’ve learned about grief is that it never just goes away, instead it comes in waves. For that reason the best thing to do with grief is ride the waves and do your best to “manage” it. Tune in to hear me discuss ways I’ve been able to manage the grief of losing a sister.
