A landmark day here by a river in Oregon! Stopping on the way to PD. felt smart. a way to recharge the batteries a few percentage above empty — before leaping into the big city and embarking on an entirely new housing situation. 8 months of daily chaos has physiologically physiologically bombarded me beyond recognition and so i am down shifting in a tent. Oddly it is the only day since evacuation that i mostly had coffee snd ate and fed the ravens and was not overwhelmed by stress /anxiety and did not have to push myself into ridiculous of exhaustion. hard to explain yet very important for all to understand- why after a disaster- humans ( especially with pain and disabilities ) need space to rest and heal. and how not getting this - has severe & lasting repercussions that cost us all more in the long run.
